Rescuing what time buries

Catalunya Oculta was born from a simple need: to rescue stories that time has slowly been burying. Our land is full of corners with an unsettling past, of tales passed on by word of mouth, and of mysteries that still defy explanation today.

Who hasn’t heard of strange lights over Montserrat, of the Llum de Manresa, or of castles where voices from the past still echo? They are part of our collective memory, and if nobody tells them, they fade away.

Here we want to give them a voice: to trace their origins, separate legend from fact and, when the moment calls for it, look at them from another angle to find a better story.
